Below is a step-by-step guide explaining the procedure:

1. Vehicle Accident - when involved in a collision you must stop, check if anyone requires assistance (emergency 111). If someone is hurt you must report the accident to the police within 24 hours.

2. Phone your Insurance company - advise them of the details of the accident. You will be provided with a claim number to hand to Harewood Panel and Paint.

3. Drivable/un-drivable vehicle - If the vehicle cannot be driven to our workshop instruct the tow truck driver to bring the vehicle to our workshop.

4. Assessment - Harewood Panel and Paint will assess the damage and provide an estimate for repairs, take digital photos and forward to your Insurance company.

5. Process of claim - Your insurance will liase with us the repairer, on the best repair solution for your claim. Your insurance company will then contact you once your claim is approved.

6. Repair time - Contact our office to arrange a convenient time frame for your vehicle to be repaired. We can by arrangement offer FREE courtesy car/commercial van.

7. Repairs and quality control - Should more be required than estimated to complete we will contact you to advise. We will complete a quality check to ensure everything has been completed to the highest standard.

8. Vehicle Completed - We will contact you when your vehicle is ready to be collected. Please note if you have an insurance excess this is to be paid on collection of  your vehicle.
